We are happy to share that Jonathan St-Onge has successfully defended his Ph.D. on April 23rd, 2025. Jonathan's dissertation, "The co-evolution of individuals and institutions: a group-based approach", brings together elements of philosophy, network science, and computational methods to study how groups behave, evolve, and adapt.

Jonathan's journey---from philosopher to data scientist---has been a wild ride! Throughout his time in our lab, he has been a source of constant and infectious curiosity, dashboards, and interesting factoids. He consistently demonstrated an ability to bridge disciplinary boundaries, transforming abstract philosophical concepts into simple and informative model, with interactive visualizations to boot.

Congratulations, Jonathan, on this impressive achievement! We're excited to continue working with you in your new capacity. May many more explorations be added to the "project graveyard" in coming years.
