Biography

Bren was PhD student in Computer Science at UVM, co-advised by Laurent and Jean-Gabriel. Their research involves combining mechanistic modeling and Bayesian statistics for the study of epidemiology and ecology. They are particularly interested in using these tools for informing how data should collected, and for assessing control options from a decision-theoretic perspective.
