I'm currently a senior B.Sc. student at the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at UVM, where I had the pleasure of working closely with several Vermont Complex Systems Center faculty, including Dr. Jean-Gabriel Young and Dr. Alice Patania, which I had the opportunity to develop into a research internship in coordination with UVM's SOCKS program in the summer of 2024. I was also fortunate enough to attend NetSci 2024 with the Vermont Complex Systems Center. My research experience has thus far focused on comparison of communities by the importance of their member nodes within network structures, especially as a means of highlighting real disparities in the social sphere. My undergraduate majors are (Pure) Mathematics and Statistics, with a strong personal academic interest in complex systems.
