Biography
I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at The University of Vermont, a co-Director at the Translational Global Infectious diseases Research Center, core-faculty of the Vermont Complex Systems Center, director of the Complex Network Winter Workshop, and board member of the Network Science Society. My research is in complexity, network theory, and nonlinear dynamics with applications in epidemiology, biology, sociology, ecology.
Before joining UVM, I was a James S. McDonnell Foundation Fellow at Santa Fe Institute and at the Institute for Disease Modeling. I received my BSc, MSc and PhD in physics from the Université Laval in Québec and love biking, hiking, snowshoeing, music, beer, cooking, whiskey, coffee and French pastries. Cheers!
