Erik Arnold is leaving us for the University of Edinburgh, where he will pursue an M.Sc. in Data Science. During his time in the lab, Erik developed IndexCast, an open-source software to aggregate prediction market data into indices on important societal questions like epidemiological risk, the future of politics, and AI risk. This work will be published as an honor's thesis on UVM's ScholarWorks, with a paper to follow soon. It's been a pleasure to work with Erik and see him grow as data scientist.
